It's a Marry Weekend!

I'm feeling romantic this morning. . . all because of the movie "Leap Year" (I didn't even know about this movie until I saw it in an article in Yahoo, haha!).  I love Amy Adams (charming as always) and it was nice to see Michael Goode again (love the accent!)!  I had a crush on him when I saw him in the movie "Chasing Liberty" (in 2004!) where he co-starred with Mandy Moore, teehee.

What is the movie all about? (from Wikipedia)
Leap Year is a 2010 American romantic comedy film directed by Anand Tucker starring Amy Adams and Matthew Goode. The film is about a woman who heads to Ireland to ask her boyfriend to accept her wedding proposal on leap day, when Irish tradition holds that men cannot refuse a woman's proposal for marriage. Her plans are interrupted by a series of increasingly unlikely events and are further complicated when she hires a handsome innkeeper to take her to her boyfriend in Dublin. The film premiered in New York City on January 6, 2010.[3]

And in it is one of the sweetest wedding speeches I've ever heard . . .

*Heavy Sigh and a dreamy look here*

I want to get proposed to and get married again . . . to the same man of course =)

And speaking of weddings, if this song already existed in 2009 (when Hubby and I got married), it would definitely be a part of our wedding playlist!

Wishing all of you a marry merry weekend . . .full of loving!

Overwhelmed!

Yes, I'm overwhelmed. . . .with the movies I have yet to see! Haha!

The last movie I saw (with Zola's Dad) was "Amazing Spiderman" (which I loved!  I like it better than the previous ones and I have to say, I underestimated Andrew Garfield.  He was brilliant as the new Spiderman)

And that was it!  Going to the movie theater doesn't come easily now since I have to take care of the Little One.

But I am keeping tab of the movies I have to watch!

I want to watch "The Dark Knight Rises" in the big screen!  Heard so much raves about it, being the best among the Trilogy.  Okay, so I can let go of "Magic Mike" (Channing Tatum doing his stripper moves. . .hmmm, will reconsider then,  Haha!). . .Ohhh and there's" Ice Age 4"!  I'm sure the gang has another exciting adventure!

And then there's the "The Healing". . . yes, I'm a sucker for Filipino horror films!  (And it all started with "Shake, Rattle and Roll"! Haha!)

"BRAVE" is now being shown at the cinemas and "Bourne Legacy" is scheduled to be shown next week!

Whew!  What to do?  What to do?

Mooooommmm. . . .!!!

I'm sure my mom won't mind looking after the Little One for a couple of days next week! Heehee

Have a nice weekend ahead!

Are you going to see any movies?

Bad Mood Alert

Yesterday, I caught the last part of the romantic-comedy movie "Just Married" (starring Ashton Kutcher and Brittany Murphy) in Cable.  (Since I became a mom, I never get to watch TV.  And if I do catch a movie, I get to see the middle or last part, haha!)

There was a line in the movie that I liked.  This is what Ashton's character's Dad told him when he was giving up on his marriage.

What you're saying here is, you had a couple of bad days in Europe and it's over.  Time to grow up, Tommy.  Some days your mother and me loved each other.  Other days we had to work at it.  You never see the hard days in a photo album.  But those are the ones that get you from one happy snapshot to the next.

It has been said too many times, Marriage (or any kind of relationship for that matter) is not a bed of roses.  I know we love our partners/husbands with all our hearts but sometimes, there are just days that they manage to rub us the wrong way (I think this sounds better than "getting into our nerves"? Haha!)  And that thing they do which we find cute when we were still dating is now annoying. . . or the fact that people change over time.  Or because there are days when our hormones are just going out of control AND then we make a mountain out of a molehill (in short, we over act or over analyze, haha!  Admit it ladies, hehe) . . . or simply because we are in a bad mood.

So there will always be good days and bad. . . .we just have to work through it. . . together.

Hun, I'm so sorry. . . but the *hormones are kicking in today and probably in the coming days too, you know what I mean.  Thank you for being patient with me =)  I love you!

*And I will  share with you why . . . in the next few weeks =)

Happy Valentine's Day!

Since it's Valentine's Day tomorrow, I would like to share with you my favorite line from the movie "He's Just Not That Into You" (love this movie!)

Girls are taught a lot of stuff growing up. If a guy punches you he likes you. Never try to trim your own bangs and someday you will meet a wonderful guy and get your very own happy ending. Every movie we see, Every story we're told implores us to wait for it, the third act twist, the unexpected declaration of love, the exception to the rule. But sometimes we're so focused on finding our happy ending we don't learn how to read the signs. How to tell from the ones who want us and the ones who don't, the ones who will stay and the ones who will leave. And maybe a happy ending doesn't include a guy, maybe... it's you, on your own, picking up the pieces and starting over, freeing yourself up for something better in the future. Maybe the happy ending is... just... moving on. Or maybe the happy ending is this, knowing after all the unreturned phone calls, broken-hearts, through the blunders and misread signals, through all the pain and embarrassment you never gave up hope.

We all have our own stories to tell about finding love.  If you have found yours, be thankful and cherish it.  And if you're still looking for it, don't lose hope.  God's timing is always perfect.

Tomorrow is Valentine's Day.  It is an occasion that is not only for lovers.  It is a celebration of all kinds of Love!  And it doesn't have to be celebrated once a year. . . it should be celebrated everyday.  Sometimes we take time and people for granted.  Let us make our loved ones feel that they matter to us everyday.

Happy Valentine's Day and have a love-filled the day. . . . always!
